Question by miss erinnicole: whats the difference between a sex doctor and a sex therapist?

i'm not even sure if there is a difference, but i want to look into the profession and i dont know how to research it...

sex doctors are medical professionals that been through medical school that help people who had sexual dysfunctions and problems because of genetic problem or some type of physical problem that usually might be diagnosed through series of tests and/or bloodwork

Sex therapists try to figure out why a patient is having sexual dysfunctions or problems..jus like a therapist they try to see the psychological part of it like a person having alot of sex because they always craved attention when they were younger due to abuse from parents..stuff like that
